Cisco Unified Personal Communicator ; Unable to switch between the "Deskphone" and "Softphone' iconsin personal communicator......stuck on one capability

Basically, the user is unable to shift between the deskphone and softphone icons on the CUPC client... so like if he logs in and has the Deskphone ability he's unable to shift to the Softphone and vice versa....

TIP:: Make sure your Anti-Virus on your PC/Laptop has the firewall/IPS/etc... disabled... and then re-launch the CUPC and it should work fine... shut the windows firewall as well... if that does not fix it then it could be that your CUPS is behind a fierwalll... try to get the ports for the CUPC-CUPS communication open...
